p align="justify">2010 China Top 500 Private Enterprises press conference was held in Beijing on August 29. Huang Mengfu, Vice Chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), Chairman of All-China Federation of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC), and Quan Zhezhu, Vice Minister of United Front Work Department of CPC Central Committee, Party Secretary and First Vice Chairman of ACFIC, attended the conference and awarded certificates to the top 30 enterprises.
ACFIC has been doing research works on major private enterprises for the last twelve years. Their works serve as both the basis for the analysis of the economic tendency in private sector and of the future development of private enterprises, as well as references for Party Committees and government departments at all levels across the country to draw up policies guiding the development of private enterprises.
