Strategic Co-operation Forged between Tiens Group and China Telecom for E-commerce Project


On the 16th September, 2010, Tiens Group Co. Ltd and China Telecommunications Corporation jointly held Strategic Cooperation Contract Signing Ceremony at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing, in an effort to develop bilateral cooperation in the area of information technology. Tiens Group's President Li Jinyuan and China Telecom's Vice General Manager Sun Kangmin attended the ceremony; also present were more than one hundred distinguished guests of different social and business background.

China Telecom is the biggest comprehensive information service supplier in China and has established a 3G network largest in the world with the earliest business application in China. So far, the network has covered all cities above county-level as well as major rural towns.

Leaders of Tiens Group and China Telecom have strongly emphasized the strategic significance of the 3G Tiens E-commerce project to be developed by both sides. While pledging close coordination, advantages sharing and win-win cooperation, the both sides promised to bring into full play their respective advantages in information network and customer resources, so as to create values for wider users and to extend business and service synergy.
The contrast signing ceremony received close attention from many major media services, with live reports made by more than 20 news agencies such as Xinhua News Agency, China Youth Daily, Tianjin Daily, Tianjin Evening Post, Tianjin Cable TV Station, Beijing Cable TV Station, Sina Net, Xinhua Net, People's Daily (on-line service) and E-north.
