On March 2nd, 2010, Sri Lanka Branch Office of TIENS donated on behalf of Tiens Group a hundred wheelchairs to the military hospital of Sri Lanka as a charitable act to serve the soldiers injured and disabled during the liberation war over the past 30 years. The donation ceremony was hosted in the President House of Sri Lanka with the attendance of President Mahinda Rajapaksa and his younger brother — Secretary of Ministry of National Defense Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who met with the representatives of Tiens Group and highly remarked Tiens Group for its charitable deed. The Mirror, an important local newspaper, gave a great coverage to this event.
