"The Chinese 2008 Best Employers Award Ceremony and the 5th CHRM Annual Conference in China" was held ceremoniously in the Century Lecture Hall of Peking University on 25th Oct. 2008, which was sponsored by the International HRM Association, the Management Case Research Centre of Peking University, the Occupation Magazine Publisher of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of China. There were more than 200 famous entrepreneurs, scholars, specialists and officials from government bodies all over China attended this ceremony. In this ceremony, more than 30 outstanding enterprises from different sectors were awarded different HR prizes. Such enterprises include Wal-Mart, IBM, Tiens Group, P&G, Ericsson, Motorola, Bayer, Merchants Bank, Taiping Life, Goldpartner and Changan Automobile, etc.
Tiens Group attracted the eyeballs from academic circle and business community by its real operation and advanced philosophy, such as "To internationalize the employer brand", and it also had got much praise from experts, professors and officials, who are from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of People's Republic of China, the International Human Resource Management Association, Peking University, Capital University of Economics and Business. Tiens Group was awarded the title of "The Best Employer in 2007 China", now it was awarded "The Excellent HR Management Enterprise in 2008 in China", which is the highest honor in this ceremony. Vice-president Ms. Bai Ping, as the specialist of the project's academic committee, supervised and wrote personally the case about the excellent employer brand of Tiens Group.
