Donating for Education, Helping the Poor

Tiens President Li Jinyuan's Charitable Visit to Sri Lanka
On Oct.30, 2010, Tiens President Li Jinyuan flied to the Group's Sri Lanka branch company in Colombo to chair the ten-thousand-people annual meeting, and also took time to attend the donation ceremony held by Sri Lanka Buddhism TV Station. Accompanied by Master Danaragama Kasaladamma, President of Sri Lanka Buddhists Association, over ten Sri Lanka government officials, as well as local business elites, President Li Jinyuan gave away books and stationery to more than 100 children from poverty-stricken areas. Also, he made donations to the Buddhism College and prayed for the poor. The event was televised to the whole world by the famous Buddhism TV Station.

On the day of donation, accompanied by Mr. Rathnayaka, Sri Lanka Presidential Secretary and Master Danaragama Kasaladamma, the well-known President of Sri Lanka Buddhists Association, President Li Jinyuan was warmly received successively by Sri Lanka Prime Minister, Senior Presidential Secretary and other prominent government officials. President Li Jinyuan introduced in detail to Mr. Prime Minister and Senior Presidential Secretary the 15-year development course of TIENS, the prosperity of Tiens International Health Industrial Park, and the grand blueprint of Tiens International College. Mr. Prime Minister expressed his admiration for the Group's strength, and gratitude for all the charity works done by President Li Jinyuan. He also extended good wishes for TIENS' lasting, sustainable and increasingly vigorous development. Mr. Senior Presidential Secretary sent Sri Lanka President's best regards for President Li, who also made donations to Presidential Foundation and Prime Minister Foundation. Later, the two sides exchanged souvenirs.
