On May 18, 2010, international charity day of TIENS, the South African branch of Tiens Group delivered a donation in the Ikageng Aids Ministry, an orphanage in Soweto. Hou Yan, vice President of TIENS Africa Region and general manager of Tiens South African branch, accompanied by managerial personnel of TIENS South Africa and representatives of local distributors, attended the commonweal event with 2009 Miss South Africa.

On the beginning of the press, Carol, President of Ikageng Aids Ministry delivered his speech at first. Following an introduction to the history and current state of the orphanage, he expressed his appreciation to Tiens Group for its persistent support and called for more people to be devoted to helping the AIDS orphans. Mr. Hou Yan then declared two donations on behalf of TIENS South Africa — Tiens Products worth 200,000 Rand that could strengthen immune system and 30 tickets of World Cup that would allow 30 AIDS orphans from the orphanage to watch football matches of World Cup in June. 2009 Miss South Africa delivered a passionate speech later, pointing out that she was excited to attend the charity event of Tiens Group. “TIENS is a caring company,” she said, adding that she hoped to be engaged in more activities of this kind and wished Tiens Group and the orphanage a better future!
