5.18 Charity Event by Azerbaijan branch of Russian Sub-region

Remembering yesterday for cherishing today 

On May 7, 2010, more than 40 old heroes of the Great Patriotic War of the Soviet Union still alive, together with people from various circles, gathered in the culture center of Baku, capital of Azerbaijan, to celebrate the 65th anniversary of victory in the war against fascism. The Azerbaijan branch of Russian Sub-region of TIENS Europe-Asia region was honorably invited to this greatly significant convention and expressed its deep respect for the Second War heroes on behalf of Tiens Group.

During the forum, the old soldiers recalled battle scenes that took place over 60 years ago, as well as many touching stories. Everyone present sunk into the memory for the heroes that sacrificed their lives in the war who brought peace to the world we are living in today. History will never forget them, neither will TIENS!

In the event, the Azerbaijan branch expressed its respect for all the heroes on behalf of Tiens Group and gave them Tiens Products in the hope that they would be happy and healthy for the rest of their life.

Blood: A Flood of TIENS'Love 

On May 15, 2010, the Azerbaijan branch of Russian Sub-region of TIENS Europe-Asia region mobilized its local partners with International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for a blood donation event.                  
Among the donators were the 60-year-olds, young students and even a four-member family.... All of them erected a monument of love with blood donation.   

Within only four hours on May 15, 50 people including employees of local partners and TIENS branch office, as well as neighbors working in the same office building attended the donation event, leading to approximately 10,000 cc of blood. During the event, TIENS Azerbaijan branch intently prepared snacks and candies for donators for their relaxation and recovery from the donation. The staff of Red Cross expressed their gratitude to TIENS Azerbaijan branch for its well-ordered organization and support.

At the end of the event, many blood donators from local partners said that they felt extremely happy to help people in need with their own hands and determined to do regular blood donations in future to contribute to the society with actual practices.
