Report on Hainan Branch of Tiens Group's Donation


From the evening on September 30 to October 9, 2010, Hainan Province was struck by the heaviest storm ever in the past 49 years. Most parts of the province were exposed to heavy rainfalls. In face of the disaster, Tiens citizens offered help and showed their concern.

On October 30, Hainan branch of Tiens Group in South China held a charitable donation activity entitled "Post-disaster Reconstruction,TIENS, Let's Move!" and raised 9,107 yuan altogether. On October 31, a team composed of nearly 40 employees from Hainan branch of Tiens Group and Tiens distributor representatives, under the leadership of the manager of Hainan branch , drove 8 private cars to send nearly 400 bags of rice to the most affected areas and distributed them to households enjoying the five guarantees (childless and infirm old persons who are guaranteed food, clothing, medical care, housing and burial expenses), low-income families, the old above the age of 80 and the handicapped. Wherever the team went, it was received enthusiastically by local residents.
